Cloud and SaaS cost
Cloud cost tied to an owner
The invoice and the outage often name the same gap: a platform nobody owns. REKKY writes that account. Fractional DevOps, SRE, and the deeper cloud-cost practice are Coalesce Ops.
No savings percentage
We will not quote a savings percentage. A number before the seats and the path is a guess. We name specific waste. We do not publish a ratio.
Tell us the platform. We take the invoice and who can administer the account. If those two do not match, that is the start. We'll need access to those areas and the people who run them.
The invoice and the job
- Seats and subscriptions that do not match the people who still work there.
- Two products that record the same work, one of which a team is afraid to turn off.
- A vendor holding data, or able to change a system, with no named owner.
- A bill leadership cannot tie to a system the floor still uses.
- Onboarding and offboarding still done by hand, so access and cost drift when someone joins or leaves.
Each invoice line has to point at a job the operation still does. A seat for someone who left is also an access finding. Cutting the seat while the job still depends on it is tomorrow's outage.
Who notices the outage
For each platform the week depends on, we write three lines: who notices it is down, who may change it, and where the record lives. Shared admin access with no owner is cost, reliability, and access.
If those three lines are a vendor, a shared login, and a chat thread, that is a phone number, not a plan. We write the owner and the record. We do not staff an on-call roster with people who are not on the team. A backup report that says success, and has never been restored, is not a test. That test is on backup and recovery testing. The deeper cloud-cost practice is Coalesce Ops.
SOC 2 readiness starts when the control is the thing that has drifted.
After the platform changes
A platform change is in scope while the old way and the new way are both still running. The infrastructure assessment is the wider pass. This pass starts from the invoice and the failure.
After two companies join is the same kind of work after a merger, an acquisition, or a leadership change. We scope that week, not a tour of the cloud.

Tell us the platform the week depends on. Engagements are remote-first across the U.S., and on-site travel is available. We work around your normal operations, and we'll need access to the right areas and the right people while we do.
